ELENA DAVISON, Executive Director, Pharmacovigilance, Informatics, Sunovion

•   Ms. Elena Davison, MBA, leads a global multinational team at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. and is responsible for Pharmacovigilance technology and the delivery of regional and global clinical and post-marketing safety data reports, datasets, and analyses required to develop the safety profile of the regionally and globally marketed products.

•   Ms. Davison has over 20 years of experience in technology and informatics in life sciences industry and has a unique expertise that spans Clinical, Post Marketing and Safety data standards, systems and data aggregation. Prior to Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Ms. Davison lead data and informatics teams at Ariad Pharmaceuticals (now Takeda), Infinity, Syndax and Altus Pharmaceuticals. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Epidemiology and Clinical Research from Stanford University and is an MPH in Epidemiology degree candidate at Harvard University, T.F. Chang School of Public Health. Ms. Davison also holds a Master’s degree in Business with concentration in Computer Information Systems.

•   Ms.Davison has presented at various Industry events on the topics of Clinical Data Standards, Handling of Blinded data in Pharmacovigilance aggregate reporting, E2B Challenges, Mobile Applications in PV, CDISC Standards Implementation, and Best Practices in selecting and managing PV data systems.
